Upcoming Tasting Notes:

Cantina de Pra Prosecco Brut DOC

Cantina de Pra was originally founded in 1959 by a young farmer named Giuseppe de Pra, with a focus to build a generational legacy for his family. Severina and Debora, the cherished daughters of Giuseppe, initially had different paths in mind, away from the family's winery. However, fate had other plans. Growing up amidst the beauty of the De Pra winery, they absorbed their father's passion for winemaking. As they matured, they recognized the value of the land, grapes, and the artistry behind their father's craft. Severina and Debora's journey from observers to accomplished winemakers epitomizes the enduring power of family, tradition, and a profound connection to the land. With innovation and dedication, they carry the De Pra family legacy into the future.

This charming Prosecco is made with 100% Glera from the province of Treviso. Aromas of white flowers, apples and peaches are followed by a lush, creamy bubble texture that finishes with elegance. A toast to 30 years of Armeno’s!!

Clos Hirissou Sparkling Rose Pet-Nat

95% Mauzac, 5% Petite Sirah

Pet-Nat (short for the French 'pétillant naturel' meaning 'natural sparkling') is made by a single continuous fermentation, where the wine is bottled before the initial fermentation has ended. Nicolas Hirissou who shares a passion for both winemaking and falconry crafts this unique Sparkling Rosé from the Gaillac region in Southwest France. It emanates lovely green apple aromas and notes of white pepper with hints of wild berries accentuate its delicate, playful bubbles and bring lots of freshness to the palate. With a graceful nature and low ABV this sparkling wine is a perfect aperitif or dessert pairing.

Cantina de Pra Pinot Grigio DOC

From Severina and Debora’s family winery in the Veneto region; we call this the unicorn Pinot Grigio. This Pinot Grigio gave our wine team reason to cheer! We are captivated by the wine’s complexity and layers of lovely fruit. On the nose; ripe summer pear and white peach with wild flowers and a hint of dry grass. Fresh pear and peach notes continue on the palate with supportive acidity and a juicy finish. Deliziosa!

Tinpot Hut Sauvignon Blanc

Inspired by the sheep farming origins of her own Home Block vineyard, winemaker Fiona Turner named her winery after the historic “Tinpot Hut”; a Marlborough, New Zealand landmark frequented by local high country sheep herders. The Tinpot Hut symbolizes the history of agriculture in the region and reflects its evolution from a sheep farming heartland to one of the world’s most dynamic wine regions. Fiona’s Sauvignon Blanc expresses classic characteristics of fresh cut thyme, intense minerality, citrus and tropical fruits. Vibrant aromatics of grapefruit, crushed lemongrass and thyme mingle with the passionfruit and melon highlights. A sip of this Sauvignon Blanc wraps your palate in zesty citrus notes.

Enjoy this Sauvignon Blanc as an aperitif or paired with seafood, chicken entrees or light salads.

Chateaumar Perle de Rose

90% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre

Made by father and son team Jean-Felix and Frederic Souret from their family estate in the heart of the Cotes-du-Rhone. Don’t let the pale petal color of this Rose fool you because a robust palate follows. Aromas of macerated strawberries, raspberries, and peaches, with a faint earthy and peppery base come together with fresh clay minerality on the round and weighty palate. Well-integrated acidity is key in retaining this sturdy rosé’s balance and freshness, making it a fine companion for foods like grilled lamb loin chops, burgers, spicy sausages, fresh tomato sauced pastas, and mezze platters.

Pinia IGP Il Beaute Rouge

50% Carcaghjolu / 50% Niellucciu (indigenous Corsican variety, originally from Sardinia, associated with Sangiovese)

Located on the eastern coast of Corsica, a few steps away from the vineyard, the Pinia forest is the last large maritime pine forest on the Corsican coast. A true place of harmony between fauna and flora, this pine forest extends over 988 acres, bordered by the banks of the Urbinu pond and by 2.2 miles of turquoise beach. Pinia is made by Christophe Paitier within the Cave des Vignerons d'Aghione; a local coop of 12 families of winegrowers, spanning three generations, this cooperative farms over 1,000 hectares of vineyards together and are dedicated to their sustainable and ethical practices. Pinia Rouge is lightly filtered and made without additions, 'light on its feet' and charming.

Glossy ruby hues and aromas of fresh black fruits, garrigue spices, which deliver a happy and bright expression. On the palate; cheery berry notes with a touch of fresh earth. Soft tannins wrapped in exuberant fruit make this chillable, chuggable red an easy mate for light tapas and grilled meats. We are loving on this fresh red wine!

Joaquin Rebelledo Mencia

It was in 1978 that Joaquin Rebolledo first began his journey in viticulture with a goal to preserve native varietals in his vineyards in Galicia. His choice to graft to the indigenous and low-yielding varietals of Godello and Mencia was at first seen as a risky bet, but is now celebrated. For the 4th generation of the family, winery tradition is still strong and every barrel is transported to a 2-centrury old cave “La Mina” where the barrels are let to rest surrounded by mineral aromas. Winemaker Catalina Morato continues the tradition with her crafting of the Mencia. Medium-bodied with bright berry and cocoa aromatics, this Mencia is fleshy on the palate; relaxed and harmonious with a smooth fruit notes and mellow tannins.

Midnight Cellars Full Moon Red Blend

45% Syrah, 40% Zinfandel, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

Full Moon is an Armeno’s favorite! It’s an easy-going blend from Paso Robles that pleases a crowd. Inviting aromas of blackberry jam, ripe strawberry, white pepper and toasted herbs. The palate follows with plump berry notes and a relaxed tannin structure. This red blend loves comfy cuisine and hanging out, feel free to enjoy with pizza, burgers or spaghetti.

Munt Roca Priorat

60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Munt Roca is a special property located in the southwest of DOQ Priorat. Their soils are llicorella (slate-like soil), covered by a small limestone layer, and other sedimentary materials. Surrounding mountains create a very unique micro climate where the combination of wind and rain brings good concentration to their grapes with intense fruit character, while still providing a fresh minerality and elegant effect.

Aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries with hints of minerality. On the palate this blend displays structure and concentration, expressing a large array of red fruits (strawberries, raspberries, red and black currant) with a delicate hint of mint and minerality. Round and fresh tannins which might be unexpected for a red wine with such intensity. The wines of Priorat are unlike other wine regions and we love to share this experience.
